Eva Goodisson : Bachelor of Management Studies/Bachelor of Science (BMS/BSC)
Eva began competitively competing in triathlons in 2014 but before triathlons became her passion she was a national level swimmer, and national title track runner. She has achieved a lot since her first serious Triathlon event. Eva has competed at the Oceania champs, the ITU world triathlon champs and has competed in the national sovereign series. Her biggest achievement to date includes being asked to train with the high performance squad in Cambridge and becoming the 2015 u19 world aquathon (swim run) champion. She says that nothing beats being outdoors and competing in a sport she loves with likeminded people. Fitting over 12 sessions into each week is no easy feat, but the challenge of organising training, balancing her life with study and time with friends is what keeps Eva interested in the sport. She also enjoys training for three disciplines, opposed to just one. Eva says that the Hillary Scholarship will enable her to achieve in her sport and it will provide a great support network of other likeminded athletes to help motivate and challenge her. She plans to study for a Bachelor of Management studies with science.
