Snowboarding
Natalie has is currently attending Summer School to catch up on a couple of papers. She has been very fortunate to have travelled widely over the last four years following the Northern Hemisphere seasons. Her most recent trip took her to BC, Canada for 18 months where she filmed with Peter Bailey on the Blackcomb Glacier and competed in the Whistler Telus Series. In this series she achieved three 1st place finishes and a 2nd place at the Billabong Flaunt it at Big White Resort. Since returning home in March 2011 she has completed her 3rd year of a BMS/LLB, competed in the Auckland and Methven Big Air – placing 2nd in both events, and also placing 1st in both Slope Style and Big Air categories at the 2011 University Snow Games in Wanaka. Other achievements include representing New Zealand at the 2009 World Universaide Games in Harbin, China and receiving two Blues Awards in 2009 for Sporting Achievement and Service to Sport. This year Natalie intends to complete another full year at Waikato University whilst traveling to Wanaka to compete and she also hopes to implement a Secondary School programme that facilitates student involvement in snowboarding. Other interesting information; Natalie loves music, playing touch rugby and surfing.

- Held in Wanaka this year. I placed 1st in Slope Style and 1st in Big Air. I was unfortunately unable to compete in Halfpipe or Boarder cross as I injured my knee the day of those events.
- Auckland Big Air - 05/06/2011
- Big Air competition in the Viaduct, Auckland. National event. Invite only. Was invited 2 weeks prior as I won a Snow Planet competition that offered wild card entry. Came 2nd. Got invited to Mathvan Big Air in September.
- Billabong Flaunt it - 25/02/2011
- 2nd place in TTR 3 Star event. Won $500 Canadian
- Telus Slopstyle - 16/02/2011
- 1st place in the local Whistler competition
- Methven Big Air - 16/01/2011
- Held in Methven, Christchurch. Invitational event that marked the closing weekend of the 100% Pure New Zealand Winter Games. I placed 2nd in the open womens category.
