Xianar Pike

Computer Graphic Design

Former Rotorua Girls’ High School student Xianar Pike became involved with graphic design at school but visual arts has been her passion since childhood. Xianar says that she’s been involved in visual arts ever since she could hold a pen and control a computer, and being able to express her emotions and feelings and create something that doesn’t yet exist is what she loves about graphic design. Xianar’s biggest achievements to date include gaining excellence course endorsements in design, photography and design and visual communications in NCEA level 3, and receiving the Senior Special Award (Robynne Fenton Technology Award) for Excellence in Senior Technology. In the future she aims to find a job in the field of spatial design or graphic design and would like to one day study for a Bachelor of Education so she can help open the minds of the younger generation and foster their creativity. For now though, she hopes to continue developing her own personal style in art, and looks forward to studying for a Bachelor in Computer Graphic Design.
