Halida Dinova comes from Kazan in Tartarstan, Russia. After studying at Kazan State Conservatory she completed an Aspiranta degree at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in St Petersburg with renowned pianist Anatol Ugarski. Winning the Geza Anda competition led to a concert tour and scholarship from the European Mozart Foundation. She then moved to the United States, earning an Artist Diploma from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Prizewinner of several international competitions, Ms Dinova has performed in North America, Russia, Mexico, Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy, Bulgaria, Germany, France, Italy and Argentina.
Ms Dinova’s recordings include a 2004 recording of Brahms’ Second Piano Concerto with the St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, and Masterpieces for Children by Bach.
