Oh What A Lovely War is a total theatre experience, not to be missed. This anti-war documentary musical involves multimedia, music, clowning, dance and drama combine to produce a powerful statement about World War One that will make you laugh, cry, and most definitely think. Written and created by Joan Littlewood's 'Theatre workshop' was first performed at the Theatre Royal in Stratford East, 1963 and is now brought to you by a talented group of third year students at the University of Waikato.
Oh What a Lovely War won the Grand Prix of the Theatre des Nations Festival in Paris and the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured actor in a Musical.
