University Chamber Choir - Voices from the Drawing Room
7 Jun 2015 3:00 PM
The parlours, salons and drawing rooms of 19th century Europe were busy concert venues, and much beautiful music was heard in them. The University Chamber Choir, directed by Rachael Griffiths-Hughes and David Griffiths, with Francis Cowan, piano, presents a programme of German and English music, to be heard with afternoon tea! Featuring Brahms' Neues Liebeslieder Waltzes, and music by Elgar, Purcell, Stanford and Sullivan, this will be a delightful way to spend an afternoon.
Tickets $15, including tea/coffee and scones.
