Yoshiko Tsuruta presents a selection of music from the marimba solo repertoire, with each piece, from baroque to modern, demonstrating a different characteristic of this instrument. The programme will include transcriptions of ‘Chaconne’ by Bach and a Wagner chorale, as well as a work for marimba and digital audio by John Psathas. A new commission by Australia based composer Andrzej Nowicki will complete the programme.
