The University of Waikato Cultural Committee
Te Ohu Tauahurea
The University of Waikato Cultural Committee is an advisory committee to the Vice-Chancellor and its role is to help fund University and community events, most of which are open to the public. The Cultural Committee is responsible for organising many of the music, theatre, performing arts and lecture events that take place on campus.
It also oversees the work of the University of Waikato Art Collection Committee, a sub-committee which is responsible for the acquisition of artwork and the maintenance of the campus art collection.
Information on how to apply for funding and who to contact, can be found in the links to the left. For more information on planned events, visit the University of Waikato Events Calendar.
