3… Why not Easter 3…

Why Easter is not established in Japan – I have come up with another reason; it is about chocolate.

Easter is indeed the important day for Christians. But we cannot deny the fact that huge marketing and commercialising activities have been present. One of the key elements for this is definitely chocolate; for example, we sometimes see bunny-shaped chocolate even in January now!

When it comes to chocolate, Japan has already had a big annual event: Valentines Day in Feburary. I wrote about this before, so please have a look here for details. Anyway, Japan goes crazy for chocolate in February and perhaps it does not need any other chocolate-filled festivity… Another reason will be discussed tomorrow!
