SCRIPT

Script is the magazine which links members of the Association. It is sent to teachers at all levels of education and to various individuals and groups who are interested in the advancement of media education in New Zealand and elsewhere.

Most subscribers live in New Zealand, but copies also go to such destinations as: Australia, USA, Canada, England and Austria. For a while we even had a subscriber in the Falkland Islands.

Script is the main member service of N.A.M.E. and the aim is to provide members with a mixture of news, class room teaching ideas, reviews and material to assist personal development of critical media studies awareness.

The Association is aware that not all members live in cities and may lack the access to resources enjoyed by urban members. Script attempts to help country members feel less isolated and able to keep up with subject developments.

Subscription is by way of membership of the Association. Overseas members may be asked to cover the extra costs of postage. Membership enquiries can be made to the N.A.M.E. treasurer/secretary

You can contact the current editor Gordon Lawrence at gsjl@slingshot.co.nz. Contributions are welcome.
