Research Interests:
Dr MacArthur was appointed to this department as an Honorary Lecturer in 1995, and has lectured in film history and screen technology. He is keenly interested in the relationship between technology, the image, and human perception, and his combined background in the screen, the arts, and sociology, as well as an alternate life in the business world, brings a unique perspective to his teaching.
