Research Interests:
As well as being a lecturer in German, he was a co-founder of the Film and Television programme at Waikato and later its convenor. He has a special interest cross-cultural influence and identity questions in media, in the films of Wim Wenders, European cinema, the reception of New Zealand film in Germany, and in film synchronisation.
Stan is the International Student Contact for the Department.
