ABOUT FMD

The Facilities Management Division represents the University in all matters relevant to property ownership, leasing, Resource Management Act and Buildings Act obligations.

Included within the concept of property ownership the Division is broadly responsible for maintaining the:

• Building maintenance
• Capital development planning
• Cleaning, portering and related services
• Emergency preparedness
• Energy management
• Environmental monitoring
• FMD Strategic Plan
• Grounds
• Security and parking
• Site development planning
• Technical services

Facilities Management Division is located in the Facilities Management building which is located on the corner of Ruakura and Silverdale Roads. The entrance is through Gate 3a on Silverdale Road. Visitor parking is available at the front door. Refer to campus map.
