FMD SERVICE DESK

FMD Service Desk exists to facilitate communications between the
University's various departments and contractors with the FMD team.
All maintenance requests can be directed through the FMD
Service Desk in the first instance. The FMD Service Desk operates
from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday and is staffed by Faye Kett. Contact can be made by phone 4001, email fmdservice@waikato.ac.nz
or fax 4185.
FMD Service Desk:
- Receive and process all maintenance requests relating the University grounds, buildings, services and capital developments.
- Receive and initiate fixes for plumbing, lighting, electrical faults.
- Receive and forward portering requests.
- Receive and forward cleaning requests.
- Receive and forward pest control requests.
- Responsible for temporary and permanent issuing of the University's keys.
- Maintains up to date records within the keys database.
- Arranges for the confidential destruction of high security documents (a cost recovery service) -
