TRAVEL PLAN

The Vice-Chancellor has approved a Travel Plan for the University's Hamilton campus. The plan has been developed in conjunction with academic and general staff, Hamilton City Council, Environment Waikato and Cycle Action Waikato, and aims to manage the travel the University generates and reduce the subsequent emissions and traffic congestion we contribute to.

Although charging students and staff to park on the Hamilton campus is an option under the Travel Plan, there are no plans at this stage to introduce paid parking.

As part of implementing the Travel Plan, an action plan matrix has been developed.  Progress on implementing the plan will be reported periodically.
