CGSE Report 1
This report comments on the phenomenon of "technological unemployment" - simply put, the loss of jobs to technology and long term effects on employment - an issue that has become a central concern for governments around the world in the face of rapid technological change. The turn to "quality education" with an emphasis on retraining and skills for adults is no longer considered a sufficient policy solution. In the age of the "jobless future" a range of new measures must be considered together.
