Student Centre

student center

The Student Centre is a state-of-the-art multi-functional facility that provides students with a student-centred learning environment, combining traditional library resources with hi-tech IT facilities. The Centre is also a central hub for support for students.

Computer Lab Access

The Student Centre computer labs are on Level 2 and 3 of the Library.
Level 3 hours:
are the same as the Library hours. ICT Support (see support below) is available from 8.30 till 5.00 Monday to Friday. Library staff can assist with some issues outside of these hours.

Level 2 hours
Level 2 Computer Area is open for students to use 24 hours a day, seven days a week. ICT Support (see support below) is available from 8.30 till 5.00 Monday to Friday. There will be no support / staff on after hours.

After Hours Access
Ask at the Level 2 Desk for a form which verifies that you are a currently enrolled student. Take the form to Security who will programme your ID card to open the door. Note that there is no charge for gaining after-hours access. You will then have after-hours access using your ID card. Access is available 5 minutes after the Library closes each day.

You'll only be able to log onto the Student Centre computers if you're a currently enrolled student. If you can't find any available seats at these areas, then seek out a computer lab in your own school.
