How to Add an Event / Appointment to a Resource Calendar
In Gmail open your calendar and select a time to create an appointment, enter the title, choose the calendar to make the appointment in (if you have more than one calendar) then click on Edit event/More options
Select the start and end time for the appointment or select All day (these will appear at the top of the calendar)
Click Guests and/or Rooms, etc. on the right hand side of the page, and select the guest/room you wish to add to the event
You can check scheduling of all invited attendees as well as other bookings on the calendar by clicking on the Find a time link.
If you're happy with the details in the event, click Save
The event should then be successfully displayed. They can be colour coded for different events (e.g. meetings, tasks or other) to make them stand out more.
Log Your Own Ticket
The University has provided a Self Service tool through which you can log your own tickets (jobs). You can also search for a previously logged ticket to check it's status. For urgent jobs you can phone the ITS Service Desk: ext 4008 (838 4008) for support.
