UniMarket - Setup
Access to UniMarket is from the main iWaikato homepage.
If you see the below screen when trying to access UniMarket (as above) - it will mean that you haven't been set up in the financial database yet. This gets done once a week on a Thursday morning.
When logging in to UniMarket for the very first time you will see the Single Sign-On error.
In order to gain access you will need to add the Organisation Units that you have access to.
You can do this by following the instructions below or via the video clip here.
1. Close UniMarket (the above screen with the error)
2. Click on the Maintain Organisation Units link (to the right of the UniMarket portlet as shown below).
3. Once there you need to click on the arrow next to the Select Chain field.
This will bring up a box with a list of Organisation Units or Account Codes that you have access to.
4. Click on one at a time and click Add.
They will then appear under the Chain Code (as below).
Once you have added all the relevant codes you need to close UniMarket and re-open.
(above details as an example only - you will need to add department codes that you have access to).
You should now have access.
PLEASE NOTE: If you get the single sign on error and you have had access previously (ie. been through the above process earlier), it could mean your browser session has expired. Please close all your browsers then try to access UniMarket again.
Log Your Own Ticket
The University has provided a Self Service tool through which you can log your own tickets (jobs). You can also search for a previously logged ticket to check it's status. For urgent jobs you can phone the ITS Service Desk: ext 4008 (838 4008) for support.
