Cloud Services

The notion of cloud computing encompasses the concept of ubiquity, sharing and collaboration - it is no longer how, or where, a service is delivered as long as it's available and cost-effective. This is a significant paradigm shift. However, cloud computing services, or any off-site hosting of University ICT services, that contains University data needs to be done in a way that does not make the data insecure.

The Cloud Security Alliance (http://www.cloudsecurityalliance.org/) provides a great source of information regarding security concerns in regards to cloud environments.
