Immigration New Zealand provides specific details of all documentation required to be supplied with your application for a student visa on the student visa / permit application form.
You need to apply for your student visa by contacting your nearest New Zealand Embassy or Consulate for procedures and an application form.
If you are coming from a visa-free country, Immigration New Zealand strongly recommends that you do not enter New Zealand on a tourist visa with plans to apply for a student permit once here.
