Professor Margaret Bedggood

Former Dean of the Faculty 1994-99. Prior to taking up her appointment at the Faculty, Professor Bedggood was for five years the Chief Human Rights Commissioner.
Since her retirement in 2003, Professor Bedggood has continued to be associated with the Facultyas an Honorary Professor and as a supervisor of doctoral and masters students.
Her research interests include all aspects of human rights law, particularly economic, social and cultural rights, and the intersection of human rights law with religion and theology.
