Events for Postgraduate Students
At the beginning of both A and B semester Te Piringa - Faculty of Law organises an Orientation programme for new students. Included in the Orientation programme is a luncheon which provides students with the opportunity to meet with other students as well as Te Piringa - Faculty of Law staff. Throughout the course of the semesters, the Faculty organises a series of workshops and seminars which combine study opportunities with the opportunity to socialise with other students and staff. Graduate students are invited to all staff and guest seminars which are held at Te Piringa - Faculty of Law.
Throughout the year the Waikato Law Students' Association (WULSA) and the Pacific Island Law Students' Association (PILSA) organises barbeques and other social events. The high point of the School's social calendar is the Te Piringa - Faculty of Law Ball which is attended by students, Law School staff and local practitioners.
