Māori Mentoring Programme
Ko te whakapono hei kakahu
Ko te ture hei whariki
Kia mau ki te aroha ki te ture me te whakapono
Na Potatau te korero tohutohu
I tukuna iho mai kia pai at te noho

The Te Piringa mentoring programme is a service provided for ALL Māori students here at Te Piringa - Faculty of Law. We operate on the principles of aroha, manaakitanga and whanaungatanga. Our mentors are trained and experienced University students and graduates, and offer support and advocacy for tauira Māori on any matter. The Mentors are very friendly and will provide you with the best advice they can.
The Kaitakawaenga Maori (Māori Liaison Coordinator) for Te Wāhanga Ture coordinates our roopu. In addition to providing one on one support, the Mentors also run extra workshops. The Mentors are available in the Mentors office, LAW.G.18 during the hours below. Each Mentor has been assigned to specific papers but can also answer queries in relation to all papers from Year 1-3.
