Our guests are Nicola de Wit and Marie Brown from EDS.
EDS is a not-for-profit environmental organisation comprised of resource management professionals who are committed to improving environmental outcomes. It carries out policy analysis and advocacy, and it engages in legal proceedings under the RMA and other legislation. Over the years it has scored successes in defending coastlines, landscapes, habitats, marine mammals, and water resources.
Nicola and Marie will talk about:
- Environmental issues that EDS is working on
- What it’s like to do policy and advocacy work in an environmental NGO
- What career paths exist for people interested in environmental law and policy
- How to get involved
