Student Centre Level 2 Computer Area
Level 2 Computer Area will be opened for students to use until midnight each night. There will be no staff on during this time. At the end of each session, the computers will shutdown automatically and security will do a check of the building. Entry is through the wooden door in the foyer of the Student Centre.
How do I get access?
If you have already paid your $15 fee for after-hours access to other parts of campus, you will not need to pay to extend your access to the Level 2 Computer Area. You will however, need to go to Security to get this access added to your card.
If you don't already have access:
- Ask at the Level 2 Desk for a form which verifies that you are a currently enrolled student.
- Take the form to Security who will programme your ID card to open the door. You will need to pay $15 for access. (There will be no $15 fee from January 2015)
- You will then have after-hours access using your ID card. Access is available 5 minutes after the Library closes each day.
The Teaching Resources Library (formerly Education) is located on the University of Waikato campus, Hillcrest Road, between Gates 4 and 5. See Campus Map: Teaching Resources Library.
The entrance to the Teaching Resources Library is at ground level of TL Block of the Faculty of Education. This Library is now all in one room (TL3.19); located up one floor from the entrance level. See also Disability Access.
