East Wing update

This morning the concrete floor of the NE elevation is being poured, ready for the terrace outside the cafe.

Inside the central hoardings the steel work for the lift will be installed. We will be making some changes to the Library layout as we prepare for new hoardings out to the East Wing, so a further update can be found here later in the week. The Level 2 display shelves will be affected and parts of NZC and Law.

Winter's here

Can this be the end of summer? Umbrellas in the foyer today as students cram into the Library on this wet Tuesday morning with its wintery temperatures.

Changes to Level 2: display and hoardings

 

The building of the hoardings from the central construction zone out to the East Wing on level 2 will be started tomorrow.  This is a couple of days earlier than planned so we have shifted the Display shelving this afternoon,  moving it forwards a couple of metres.   It will be pushed back once the new hoardings are in place.  
Current access around the hoardings will be closed through the dog leg section beside the Display area until the new hoardings are removed again.
