The ramp entrance to Level 2 of the East Wing is now operational, and so is the new Lending  desk. All public access to the Library will now be via the temporary entrance in the East Wing as the old front doors have been locked.

Please mind your step as you come through the new doors.

A reminder to Library staff   that there is a pressure test of the new stairwell from 9-12 today, and that the (old) stairwell roster is still operating for today.

Lending Services has moved to the new extension on Level 2, together with the Information desk.

The card registration and e-pay machines from old Level 2 have moved to the new extension Level 2

Map books including Lonely Planet guides are currently shelved after HJ on Level 3 of the new extension.

We are putting up shelves on Level 3 for the New Books Display and the DVD collection

Today we are planning to empty Level 2 by the end of the day ready to hand over to FCC.

The top line of fins is being installed on the East Wing front - do have a look because it is a spectacular sight (we will put a photograph on flickr)
