Fletcher Construction has limited hours in which they can make particularly loud noise.  At present they are cutting through the floors of the Library to allow for the construction of a new emergency stairwell.  Some of the demolition requires the use of jack hammers.  Over the next week or so work of this nature will begin at 7:00pm.  Although the Library will be open as usual until 9:00pm it is likely that there will be considerable noise in the building.
