Level 2 study pods (M2.02 & M2.03) are available for booking. The Level 4 study pods (M4.03, M4.04 & M4.05) will be opening very soon.

Starting Thursday, scaffolding will be put up in the main stair atrium to allow for some alterations above the glass walls on the western side. The scaffolding will extend on to the stairs on the western side, so the stairs will be closed on that side.

Fins on the north elevation are now in place and work has begun to install the framing for the windows.

We have moved the affected study desks and cordoned off the area concerned on Lev 3, in readiness.  Sarah will work on Lev 3 for 2 days and then move to Lev 4 for a further 2 days.

There may be some disruption around the Level 2 service desks while the work is going on.

The Fees Office will operate from TSR205 (Gateway) from Monday. Once room 210 is completed, Fees staff will move back.

FCC will be offloading a number of precast concrete elements in the area to the north of the Level 1 loading bay on Monday. There will be large trucks and cranes involved, so no access will be possible on that day.

Scraping out and filling is being done in the evenings and should be complete by the weekend. Re-filling and rub-down will be done over the weekend ready for the painters to come through and complete the following weekend.

From 10.45am - 1.00pm there will be an official opening ceremony taking place in the entrance foyer and on Level 2 of the Student Centre - if you wish to come into the building during that time please use the Fire Exit door to the right of the main foyer entrance. This will be signposted and staff will be available to guide you.
