The Canadian Legal Information Institute provides free access to a comprehensive collection of Canadian legal information.
Use the advanced search option to search specific jurisdictions or types of court.
Coverage: Full text
Access to state and federal case law; codes and statutes; court documents; over 3.5 billion public records; business news, legal news, regional news etc.
To find Canadian material, choose Find laws by country or region, then foreign legal materials and choose Canada from the list of countries.
User Guide
Comprehensive database of primary and secondary legal research materials, including cases, statutes, and journal articles from a number of jurisdictions. Extensiveness of coverage differs between jurisdictions. Thomson Reuters Westlaw is powered by WestSearch™™, which searches across multiple content sets by jurisdiction providing more comprehensive and more relevant search results.

Westlaw International’s Canadian Encyclopedic Digest provides a comprehensive statement of the law of Ontario and the four western provinces - provincial, federal and common law - as derived from the case law and legislation.
Click the directory link at the top of the page and type 'encyclopedic' into the search box.
