Ancient History of the Maori / John White
In 1879 the Government commissioned White to compile an Official Maori History. 7 vols appeared between 1887 and 1891, 6 remained in manuscript form. The UoW Library has now published all 13 volumes. Available On-Campus only. Requires W3Launch software.

Index of Māori names
Originally a manuscript compiled about 1925 by the missionary Henry James Fletcher. Comprises an index of Māori names referred to in books and journals. Includes boundaries, Māori individuals, canoes, trees, landmarks and geographical locations.
Māori Bibliography
Indexes Maori topics appearing in books, conference proceedings and journals which cannot otherwise easily be found in regular sources.

Coverage: 1865-1910 (Index)
The Maori Land Court Minute Books index provides easy and quick access to over 1100 minute books between 1865 and 1910, from the Taitokerau, Waikato-Maniapoto, Tairawhiti, Waiariki, Aotea, Takitimu, and Waipounamu Maori Land Court Districts.

A collection of historic newspapers published primarily for a Māori audience between 1842 and 1932.
