E-resources
The Library works in partnership with other Australasian University Libraries to build collections and license access to a steadily growing collection of scholarly resources:
Most ebooks, ejournals and databases are available only to enrolled students and staff of the University of Waikato. A selection of databases is available to our alumni and a limited number of e-resources can be consulted within the Library by members of the public.
Ebooks and Ejournals
Publication titles are listed in the Library catalogue; to search for articles on specific topics use general or subject databases, or use Library Search to search across most library print and digital resources.
Video & Audio Collections
The Library has a variety of video and audio collections. You can search for these through the Databases list.
Access Issues and Troubleshooting
Some problems with access to certain e-resources can be resolved by simply troubleshooting a few of the more common scenarios - see How to Troubleshoot Library Databases guide. Alternatively, double check access requirements by reading through the Use of Library Databases access conditions. Academics may need to refer to Subscription Databases Agreements and Coursepacks .
If none of the above provides a solution to an e-resources access problem, submit an Electronic Access Problem request.
See Ebooks for more info about the Library's ebook collection.
