Library tours are a great way to get to know your Library from day one. Library orientation tours are available during the first week of A and B Semester and can also be requested throughout the year.
Why join a Library Tour?
The Library is a complex organisation with a lot to offer students, researchers and staff through its services, facilities and staff expertise. Participating in a tour of the Library and Student Centre will give you a better idea of support available that can greatly benefit your study and research during your time at the University of Waikato.
When and where?
Join a scheduled Orientation Tour starting at 11am or 2.15pm each weekday during the first weeks of Semester A and B. Tours are approximately 30 minutes long and commence from the Orientation Board just inside the entrance to the Library. You should meet there 5 minutes before the scheduled time.
Requesting a Library Tour
Tours can be arranged for groups, including High School students, or individuals, at any point during the year. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out the Request a Library Tour form. Remember to leave your contact details so we can get back to you with a tour date and time.
