WISE: Recalls and Holds
| Any item currently on loan may be requested by another borrower.
This is done by placing: |
- a recall on an item that is required urgently
- a hold on a non-urgent item

If a recall is placed on an item you have borrowed, a message will be
sent to your University email account requiring you to return the item
within a few days. If the item is not returned in time, there will be
a fine! If a hold is placed on an item you have borrowed, you may keep
it until the due date, but will not be able to renew it.
Recalls and Holds may only be placed
from an item record. The same procedure is used for both.
