WISE: - The Information Cycle

Let’s use a newsworthy event to illustrate how this cycle works.

At each of these stages, there was input from information specialists, who indexed and catalogued, and stored these resources in repositories such as libraries or archives, in order for them to be made available to society.
Once others express the need for this information, the material can be retrieved using a range of tools, from library catalogues to journal indexes or the internet.
