Wise Types of sources
Once an item has been published or added to an archival collection, the material may be picked up by an indexing and abstracting service. Summaries may be found in reference material such as chapters in textbooks,
and reference works such as dictionaries and encyclopaedia and bibliographies may be created.
These are sometimes referred to as tertiary sources
