WISE: Assignment research process

Once we establish the kind of information required, we need to use the appropriate tools to find that information.

The starting point for all assignments is to carefully read the assignment outline. If a Reading List is provided, it will contain key or major works required for the course, and some of these may be suitable for the assignment.

Next we start to explore and define the topic further by brainstorming ideas, and looking for background information and suitable keywords or phrases.
