WISE: The World Wide Web

The WWW is structured like a spider’s web. This network system allows us to link from one site to another. A link joining remote websites is called a hypertext link. A typical website has many webpages within it. Webpages within a website are also connected by hypertext links. The first page of a website is called the homepage.
