The PhD Movie
Pro Vice-Chancellor Postgraduate Professor C. Kay Weaver invites all doctoral students and their supervisors to a screening of The PhD Movie "Piled Higher and Deeper" to celebrate the significant contribution doctoral students make to our research culture. Presentation Skills Workshops
This is not a course but a group of students who meet fortnightly to develop their presentation skills at their own pace. Long or short presentations, you choose. 1-min speeches are useful for developing confidence speaking to an audience, or increasing skills, whichever is appropriate for your level of confidence. All speeches receive feedback; aiming to encourage and motivate: what was done well as well as what may need more work. Sessions are usually 1 hr. All visual, verbal presentation types are included. This is an open group.
