Ko te tino whāinga o tēnei akoranga he whakahōhonu, he whakawhānui i te reo o te hunga kua puta i te MAOR213. Ko te katoa o ngā mahi kei roto i te reo Māori. Ka mōhio te ākonga ki ngā āhuatanga o te reo Māori kua whakawhāititia ki roto i ngā wāhanga katoa o Te Whanake 3 Te Māhuri (me ngā pukapuka Te Whanake 1 Te Kākano me Te Whanake 2 Te Pihinga kua oti kē). Ka oti ana tēnei pepa, ka taea e te ākonga te kōrero me te tuhituhi i ngā tūmomo kaupapa, horopaki hoki, me te whakamahi i ngā rerenga kōrero e tika ana mō te kaupapa me te horopaki.
This paper follows on from MAOR213 and further develops those skills. Students will know those aspects of the Māori language encapsulated in Te Whanake 3 Te Māhuri (and also Te Whanake 1 Te Kākano, and Te Whanake 2 Te Pihinga which have already been completed). Upon successful completion of this paper, students will be able to speak and write on a wide range of topics and contexts and use the language structures appropriate for the topic and context.
