My Experience

Committed to supporting leaders, teachers and students to experience self-efficacy and achievement in their teaching and learning, I am an educator with high expectations of myself and others.  My practical approach allows me to identify needs and create a response that is both manageable and effective.  Currently in the leadership role as regional coordinator for the Central North, I enjoy my work and relish the opportunity to supportively lead a team of professionals.  Openly sharing my expertise, I feel privileged to learn and laugh with them.

“Jill has been working closely with our school for the past two years. She has been tasked with shifting our teachers’ pedagogy in mathematics. I have had the pleasure of observing Jill at work.  Her interaction with staff is exacting. Her modelling the art of teaching is well defined by her thorough understanding of how to teach.” A principal’s introduction at a parent/whānau evening
