Gisborne Expo 2016

gisborne 1Following on from the successful launches in Hamilton and Napier it was Gisborne’s turn to increase exposure in their area.  And that it did !!!!

Gisborne was the most successful turnout yet, despite having the smallest number of schools in the region and probably the most widespread. The trick was to personally invite every principal in the entire region.

It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce principals and teachers and the wider community to the almost new Learning4 Store and conference room.

The curriculum's were represented by facilitators were the Literacy, Numeracy, LWDT and Maori teams. Displays were gisborne 2also put up for L&A and Science. Jan Martin also attended after a busy day in Auckland.

A good number of school representatives attended the expo which gave them the opportunity to mix and mingle in an informal way with facilitators and administration staff.  There were many teachers who had the chance to shop till they dropped and Pat and Jennie were run off their feet most of the night.

Feedback both on the night and in the days following was very positive.

The prizes baskets went to David Jane from Mata School, who had traveled over two hours to attend the expo, and Te Orani gisborne 3Wilson from Te Wharau School.

A big thank you to all who helped make the night a great success.
