Literacy Symposium - Passport to Possibilities
IPL hosted their first Literacy Symposium on 11 July, we had 216 registered teachers attend which was a fantastic turnout since it was the first day of the school holidays.
The event was at Melville Intermediate School which was a fantastic school to work alongside, they went above the call of duty to ensure all our needs were catered for on the day. Bernard Becket started the day off as the keynote speaker who delivered a truly inspirational keynote. The day then followed on to 3 x 1 ½ hour workshops throughout the day and we were fortunate enough to have a lovely sunny day so teachers could meander from workshop to workshop in the lovely sunshine.
The Learning4 Store had an impressive display of discounted resources for teachers to buy. All in all it was a wonderful day for teachers and the team wish to thank all the facilitators who presented for their hard work, it was much appreciated.
