AccessAbility Newsletter
This newsletter is published and posted to all students who indicate on their enrolment form that they live with the effects of disability. The newsletter keeps students up to date on what is happening on campus, relevant to students with disabilities. We invite you to send in any news of interest that you may like to put in future newsletters.
If you do not receive this newsletter and would like to receive it, or you have something to contribute to the newsletter, please contact one of the Disability Support Staff. You can expect to receive the first newsletter of the year towards the end of March.

Naturally the Disability Support Service webpages are a good way to get information and resources and keeping in touch with the latest news so please check these out regularly.
E - Groups
Each student who self-identifies on the Pre-Enrolment Form as having an impairment/disability or who later registers with the Disability Support Service, is included in our email list. This list enables the Disability Support Service to make contact with students and keep students up-to-date with things that are happening, new services, groups, resources, meetings etc. If you do not wish to be on the list, please contact the Disability Support Service and your email address will be deleted.

Achieve
ACHIEVE is a national network established to ensure equal opportunity and access to tertiary education and training for people with disability. Its membership includes students with disabilities, family and friends, tertiary education providers and service providers in the community. The University of Waikato is a corporate member of ACHIEVE. The ACHIEVE newsletter is a good way of keeping in touch with what is happening at a national level.
