Eligibility

For school leavers who are intending to enrol full-time (120-points) in the first year of an undergraduate degree in the Waikato Management School in 2025. Applicants must be enrolling in at least one accounting paper in the year of tenure and be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident. Two awards of $1,500 will be offered.

 

Before applying

To apply for the Bartlett and Buckley Scholarship click on 'Next Steps' below where you will be taken to your MyWaikato portal. You will then need to select the Bartlett and Buckley / Brian Smith Memorial Entrance Scholarship to submit an application. In completing this online application you will also be considered for the Brian Smith Memorial Entrance Scholarship.

  2. If you are new, complete an application to enrol

    You will need to do this BEFORE you can have access to apply for Scholarships and Awards.

    Once you have an account, log into MyWaikato and click on the ‘Scholarships’ tab to see the list of available scholarships

Note: If you are a current student or already have a University of Waikato account you will be redirected to the MyWaikato screen. Log in to MyWaikato, select the ‘Scholarships’ tab and choose the scholarship you wish to apply for from the list at the bottom of the page.
