About

The Tertiary Achievement in Pacific Ako Awards is to recognise well rounded Pacific student leaders who actively contribute to the Pacific community, University of Waikato community and set an example for other students in academics and other areas of excellence.

Eligibility

For students who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents and are of Pacific Island descent to pursue tertiary studies at the University of Waikato for a full academic year.

  2. If you are new, complete an application to enrol

    You will need to do this BEFORE you can have access to apply for Scholarships and Awards.

    Once you have an account, log into MyWaikato and click on the ‘Scholarships’ tab to see the list of available scholarships
