Research Interests

Innovative development of process and mechanical engineering techniques for reducing energy use and carbon emissions for industrial processes and national energy systems. Involves analysis and methodology development in Heat Integration, Total Site and regional integration, integration and utilisation of renewables, process optimisation, retrofit of Heat Exchange Networks (HEN) and industrial utility systems, reduction of key environmental and societal footprints, biorefineries and industrial clusters.
