Fees & Costs

International students are required by Immigration New Zealand to pre-pay one year’s tuition fees to the University of Waikato in order to be granted a student visa. Fees must be paid for each course a student is enrolled in.

The University of Waikato charges fees on the basis of your course enrolment rather than by programme. The fees for courses vary between Faculties / Schools of Study and sometimes within a Faculties / Schools of Study.
