Secondary Tertiary Alignment Resource (STAR) funding for university papers is available to public and integrated secondary schools through the Ministry of Education. Students can also enrol as full fee paying students, with the permission of their secondary school Principal. The university paper your students enrol in can also help towards them gaining a $3,000 School Leaver Scholarship. When we assess their eligibility for the 60 credits in three or four approved subjects, we will count their University paper as equivalent to 24 credits in one approved subject. Note that they cannot count the same subject twice, that is, their Level 3 credits and the university paper.
